To THIS! In JUST six months!!!!



We did a little celebrating at Ruby Tuesdays and purchased a gift for our sweet baby boy who is growing SO quickly out of his baby-hood. People ALWAYS tell me to soak up every moment, and well, I'm trying, but I find myself looking forward to the next stage all the time while they all pass me by. It is so exciting and fun for me to think about who this kid will grow up to be. To imagine him walking; to think about his first day of school when I will BALL my eyes out, his baptism, his mission farewell where, again, I will BALL my eyes out, his wedding (still CRYING!) and so on. I know I will look back and wonder why I hadn't payed MORE ATTENTION to these stages, but I can't help it. I do enjoy every moment with him. I just want to know him more and more.



He has changed our lives and our hearts and I CAN'T imagine going back to life before him.

He is most curious with a delightful, content personality. He is learning to test limits which can be frustrating, but I like to think that he is smart testing those waters so quickly. We are so proud of him and are completely under his spell. There is nothing we wouldn't do for this little person. He is our world, forever.

We love you Easton. Happy six months to our sweet baby boy.

Happy Halloween BROTHER!

We went to a fun Halloween Party Friday night as Hulk and Linda Hogan. Nate looked HILARIOUS! Hulk Hogan is and always will be my favorite wrestler.

Easton's costume was perfect for him since he's our CHUNKY MONKEY!

We took him to a trunk-or-treat in between a LONG day of moving. There were HOT DOGS and apples with CARMEL! YUM!

An Oath We'll Never Forget....

...because we worked so blasted hard for it! :)

There we SO many young new lawyers there and they all took the oath at the same time, thank goodness! A few speakers before the "oath" ceremony shared some of their thoughts and one of them gave some pretty good advice. His exact words were, "Don't be a putz." I found that quite delightful. :)

Rice Cereal-TAKE TWO

We started Easton on rice cereal last month and he did not seem ready for it. So, we waited another month and tried again; this time with MUCH success! He LOVES his rice cereal now! I've even begun mixing some veggies in with it and I am very happy with how well he will eat it. It just amazes me how much these little ones grow and develop in only a month's time. He is eating BIG boy food and also ROLLING OVER effortlessly! He is sleeping SO well and gives us nine or ten hours every night! We really couldn't ask for anything more. He is SUCH a good baby! SUPER fun with THE most kissable CHUBBY cheeks!

My little boy is getting so BIG!!

Easton is constantly kicking and can kick off his socks AND shoes all by himself... It cracks me up!

He HATES being on his tummy. He's cool with it for a few minutes and then he's DONE! He's rolled over ONCE all by himself. He is most definitely on his own little time table and there's nothing we can do about it. :)

Easton could not be more of a joy for the two of us. He is the light of our lives and we are so blessed to have him. I love his personality! He really loves pretty much everyone, especially the LADIES! He gives up a smile very easily. He is such an easy going kid and starting to really love the rice cereal.

Even Petey is jumping on the Easton band-wagon. :) Petey will give Easton kisses every time he gets the chance. I don't know what Easton did, but he has ALL of us wrapped around his finger...and I don't even mind. :)

Baby BRODY!!!

TA DA!!! My nephew Brody was 7lbs 14 oz and was 22 inches long. He had an infection soon after his birth and stayed in the hospital a few days longer than expected. We were all worried, especially Momma, but he fought through it and is doing GREAT! Didn't my sis and bro-in-law do SUCH a good job? :)
